Akheelrao is an independent director at FinFuture Corporate Services Ltd spearheading the financial advisory stream. Akheelrao was formerly part of the Strategic Business team of the GMEX Group and is based in Mauritius. He was involved on the various projects undertaken by the GMEX Group. He has invaluable experience in financial modelling, business plan and financial due diligence. Akheelrao has worked with various start-ups and FinTech Companies to make their project bankable. Prior to this, Akheelrao was a consultant at KPMG and was involved in major deals and transaction in Mauritius and regional islands. He also worked at Deutsche Bank (Mauritius) and ABAX corporate services. Akheelrao holds a Bsc (Hons) Finance minor law, is an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) member, a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder and is a Chartered Banking & Credit Analyst (CBCA).
